Settings Overview

OrcaQ includes a built-in settings panel for controlling how the app looks, how the editor behaves, how agent features are configured, and how local data is managed.

Open Settings from the app and use the sidebar to switch between sections. On macOS, the panel also supports the Cmd + , shortcut.

How settings are stored

Based on the current app behavior, settings are stored locally on your device and applied automatically as you change them.

This includes app-level preferences such as:

  • editor configuration
  • agent UI preferences
  • selected default model
  • quick-query safe mode
  • table appearance
  • custom editor layouts
  • desktop auto-download preference
  • interface density
